Wynn Signature Chinese Wine Awards Winning Winery: The Brand and History of Xige Estate

Founded in 2017, Xige Estate is recognized as a leading winery in Ningxia's wine industry, with vineyards spanning over 30,000 mu. Named "China's largest and fastest-growing boutique winery" by the globally respected Decanter magazine, Xige was included in the first batch of "China Famous Consumer Products" recognized by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China.

Xige operates a world-class digital vineyard management system alongside cutting-edge winemaking facilities. It has developed its own "3126" premium winemaking protocol, and its wines carry dual European certifications – BRCGS and IFS. The estate has won hundreds of international gold medals, and has been repeatedly chosen as the official wine for major Chinese international events.

Location & Environment

Xige Estate is located in the core Gezi Mountain area along the eastern foothills of Helan Mountain, Qingtongxia, Ningxia, on an alluvial fan plain between the Yellow River floodplain and the Helan Mountain alluvial fan. There, the topsoil is loose and porous, while the deeper layers are firm yet soft, creating ideal conditions for deep grapevine root growth and the development of complex flavors. In the Gezi Mountain sub-region, the Helan Mountain slopes gently and cool breezes flow naturally, reducing pest and disease pressure, slowing ripening, and endowing the grapes with elegant, refined fruit aromas.
