about RegionTASTING NOTES
—
Madeleine Stenwreth MW
Beautiful black-gravel-and-graphite driven cassis fruit, still very youthful with notes of cedar and tobacco starting to develop. Firm, fresh and very classy with still a long way to go.
—
Tim Tiptree MW
Opaque ruby. Prominent oak spice on the nose that dominates the black fruits, with subtle hints of menthol. A full-bodied, dry red with a fine tannic grip and a good balance of refreshing acidity. Cassis flavor with a moderate but persistent finish, demonstrating a classic varietal Cab Sauv character.
—
Dr Jamie Goode
This shows gorgeous, sweet, and ripe blackcurrant fruit with soft tannins and a lush mouthfeel. Ripe and forward, with some ashy, spicy notes in the background. It has depth and richness, with a nice purity to the sweet fruit.
—
Annette Lacey MW
Deep garnet with tobacco, dried kitchen herbs – dried mint – and cassis fruit. Mid-weight. Very sweet ripe black fruit with chalky pithy tannins and a shortish finish.
