about RegionTASTING NOTES
—
Kenichi Ohashi MW
Oxidative, bruised black cherry and prunes. Dried herbs and developed earth. Dusty tannins. Evolved.
—
Arnaud Bardary MS
Intense nose of ripe, towards cooked, black fruits. Well-made and balanced overall. Just an intense finish on the ageing flavors such as licorice, oak and cedar, character and fruit fading. Final a touch short.
—
Denis Lin
Ripe berries with some minty nose; ripe and round fruits, dried peel, charred oak, herbs, medicine. Nice tannins, good intensity.

Attractive, medium-ruby color, feels much younger than wine 5 in the flight from the same vintage. Still, edge of vibrancy around the rim. Rose petals and black cherry fruit on the nose, intense black cherry and blackberry (the same really intense bramble blackberry that I found in wine 4). This is enjoyable. Still a little short, lacks real depth, but it's good quality and goes into silver for me.
