about RegionTASTING NOTES
—
Arnaud Bardary MS
Pretty aromatic, but extremely oriented on the oak character. The oak is confirmed on the palate by the young, green dry tannins. Shame, as the wine has all the freshness and structure to make something very good without the pushed oak integration.

Ripe fruity nose, dark chocolate, blackcurrants, black plums and dark cherries. Lots of new oak.

Della Danwen Tang
The acidity is not very integrated into the body and tastes a little unbalanced. Lack of fruit concentration.

Deep inky plum in color, again from the Yili Valley, enjoying the visual consistency of this sub-region. Lovely rich aromatics on the nose, very much shows the typicity of the blend of these two varieties and is enticing, if a little sweet. This is good quality, though. It deserves a high score. No question that these tannins are well-worked with real interest, sleek. Uses its oak intelligently, even if it is clearly in evidence. A very good wine with layers of dark fruits.
