A very typical example of CG, with intense herbal notes and fresh fruit aromas, including red dates, sea buckthorn, raspberry, and strawberry jam. On the palate, the tannins are delicate, with oak-derived flavors of toast and smoke, and a hint of inkiness. The finish is long and savory. An excellent wine.

A leafy nose, as well as luscious black fruit. A balanced, ripe palate with bright acid, fine tannins, full body and plenty of juicy fruit.

Smoke and tar on the initial smell, following with sage, licorice, violet, and coffee beans. Fresher acidity on the palate with a solid tannin backbone, yet silky and refined. This is the most elegant Ningxia Cab Gernischt that I've tried so far.
