닝샤

포도 수확

닝샤의 허란산맥 기슭에서는 8월에 첫 포도 수확이 시작됩니다.

 

아침 여섯 시, 포도밭의 햇빛은 꿀처럼 달콤하게 빛나고 농장을 황금빛으로 물들입니다. 나무에 포도가 낮게 매달려 있는데 잘 익어가는 포도의 무게를 견딜 수 없는 듯합니다. 포도원 전역에는 이미 분주한 일꾼들의 모습이 보입니다. 한 손에는 포도를 다른 한 손에는 날카로운 칼을 들고 부드러우면서도 리듬감 있는 동작으로 발밑의 바구니를 꽤 빠른 속도로 채워갑니다. 그 뒤에는 눈 덮인 장엄한 허란산맥의 봉우리가 하늘과 맞닿을 듯 솟아 있습니다.

눈부시도록 아름다운 장엄한 한 편의 시

중국인에게 허란산맥은 단순한 지질학적 위치가 아닌 그 이상의 의미가 있습니다. 가족과 국가에 대한 헌신의 상징이자 과거와 현재가 중단 없이 이어진 곳입니다. 고대의 전투와 고결한 열정의 증인인 허란산맥은 유서 깊은 시를 통해 헌신, 경건함, 열정을 담아낸 수많은 시인과 영웅들의 자긍심, 관대함, 비극을 모두 품고 있습니다. 이제 이 산맥은 영광을 담은 포도원과 함께 중국을 위한 새로운 시를 쓰고 있습니다.

세계 무대로 펼쳐나가는 허란산맥

허란산맥 정상에서 내려다보는 산기슭 전체는 장관입니다. 특히 동쪽에 뻗어있는 끝없이 늘어선 포도나무는 그 수를 셀 수 없을 정도입니다. 북위 약 37°-39°에 위치한 포도원은 프랑스 보르도 및 미국 나파 밸리와 같은 38°N 농업 벨트로 이는 와인 업계에서는 프리미엄 와인 포도의 황금 지역으로 알려져 있습니다. 닝샤의 포도원이 최고급 와인 생산으로 인정받기 시작한 시점은 2000년대 초반으로 닝샤 지역은 초기 단계로 여겨지고 있습니다. 현재 이 지역에는 200여 개의 와이너리가 운영되고 있고 포도원들의 크기는 3억 8천 제곱미터(약 1억 평)가 넘습니다. 이는 중국 전체 재배지의 약 4분의 1에 해당합니다.

프리미엄 와이너리

닝샤 지역의 기관의 와인 분류 프로그램은 보르도 분류 체계를 일부 차용했습니다. 등급은 2년마다 재평가되는데, 이러한 시스템은 와인 생산에 대한 열정이 있는 와이너리들이 기준을 설정하는 데 도움이 됩니다. 2021년 9월 현재 닝샤는 2등급 아홉 곳, 3등급 15곳, 4등급 18곳, 5등급 15곳을 포함하여 다양한 분류 등급에 걸쳐 57개의 프리미엄 와이너리에 대한 등급을 매겼습니다.

외국 투자자들에게 매력적인 곳

현지의 프리미엄 와이너리 외에도 닝샤는 외국 투자자들에게 매력적인 곳입니다. 그 예 중 하나로 2012년 럭셔리 그룹 LVMH는 1억 7,500만 위안을 투자하여 추운 기후에 적합한 프리미엄 스파클링 와인을 전문적으로 생산하는 도멘 샹동(Domaine Chandon)을 설립했습니다. 그외에도 허란 칭수에(Helan Qingxue), 실버 하이츠(Silve Heights), 가나안(Kanaan) 등을 비롯한 유명 현지 및 해외 부티크 와이너리도 여러 곳 설립됐습니다.

활력 넘치는 때루아

공기, 바람, 토양, 습도, 햇빛, 기후 등 지역 떼루아의 모든 측면이 생산되는 와인에 영향을 미칩니다. 빟하기 시대부터 허란산맥은 네 차례에 걸친 빙하의 전진과 지각 변동을 경험했으며 매번 모래층, 자갈 퇴적물, 고대 토양이 축적되었습니다. 이 결과로 산의 동쪽에 충적 평야가 형성되어 200km 이상이 넓어졌고 석회암, 규암, 빙퇴석 역암, 기타 희귀 암석이 포함되어 있습니다. 이곳의 돌에는 포도 재배에 필수 미네랄인 규소와 칼슘이 들어있습니다.

포도 품종

닝샤의 떼루아는 카베르네 소비뇽 포도와 훌륭한 조합입니다. 이 포도로 만든 와인은 짙은 보라, 빨간색을 띠고 질감이 부드럽습니다. 은은하고 부드러운 타닌, 꽃과 과일의 풍부한 향기, 완벽한 바디감, 기분 좋게 남는 뒷맛이 특징입니다. 각각의 와인을 만드는 과정은 재료의 고유한 특성을 유지하고 살리면서 전체적으로 균형감 있는 맛을 추구해야 하므로 절묘한 중국 요리를 준비하는 것만큼 섬세하고 복잡한 일입니다.

닝샤의 카베르네 소비뇽 포도

카베르네 소비뇽이 닝샤 레드 와인의 중심 무대에 있다면, 샤르도네는 이 지역의 주요 화이트 와인 포도라 할 수 있습니다. 마르셀란, 사페라비, 시라 등 신흥 품종도 현재 이 지역 전역에 걸쳐 널리 재배되고 있습니다. 포도의 품종, 토양, 기후 조건 사이의 복잡한 상호 작용으로 닝샤는 중국 와인 생산의 새로운 개척지로서 신흥 와인 생산지의 선도 역할자로 자리매김했습니다.

This Statement applies to all systems, websites and applications (commonly known as “Apps”) owned or operated by us, including "wynnmacau.com", "wynnpalace.com", "wynnresortsmacau.com", "wynninsidermacau.com", "wynnredcard.com", "wynncareersmacau.com", and the “Macau Wynn App”. Information We Collect

As appropriate, we may collect personal data from you voluntarily in order to provide you with a particular service. We may ask you for various information depending on the service to be provided and to the extent that is necessary. 

The followings are examples of the information that may be collected:

  • Personal details (such as name, date of birth, data in your identification document);
  • Contact information (such as email address, mailing address, and phone number);
  • Payment information (including payment card numbers, billing address, and bank account information);
  • Demographic data (such as age, gender, country, and preferred language);
  • Information related to your reservation, stay, or visit to a property (including the hotels where you have stayed, date of arrival and departure, and goods and services purchased);

  • Information related to your use and interaction with our website, systems or applications.

To ensure the safety of persons and assets, where legally permitted or required, we may also collect audio-visual data through surveillance at facilities operated by us or our subsidiaries, affiliates and any companies directly or indirectly controlled by our ultimate holding company, Wynn Resorts, Limited (collectively, “Wynn Group”). 

 

Collection Method 

We collect your information in a variety of ways, including:

  • Information You Give Us: We receive and store information you enter on our website or give us in any other way, including, for example, when you stay as a guest at hotels managed by us. You decide how much information to share with us in most cases, but not sharing required information may limit your ability to engage in certain activities, such as payment information required to complete your reservation. If you submit any personal information relating to another person (e.g., if you make a reservation for another individual), you represent that you are authorized by that person to do so and to permit us to use the information in accordance with this Statement. You also represent that the information you provide is accurate.
  • Security Systems: When you visit our managed properties, information may be collected through surveillance at facilities operated by the Wynn Group or through such properties’ closed circuit television systems, electronic key cards and other security systems.
  • Information from Other Sources: We may receive information about you from other sources, such as public databases, joint marketing partners, and other third parties. This may include information from your travel agent, airline, credit card, and other partners, if any.

 

Necessity

We shall only collect and use the data necessary to accomplish the relevant task or provide the relevant service. The reason for collecting the information will always be specified.

 

Cookies

AA cookie is a small file stored on the user's computer or mobile/tablet device tied to information about the user. When you access our websites, cookies may be set. However, use of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our websites. Cookies also measure usage of various pages on our websites to help us make our information more pertinent to your needs and easy for you to access. They provide functionality that we believe would be of interest and value to you.

You may set your browser to block cookies (consult the instructions for your particular browser on how to do this), although doing so will adversely affect your ability to perform certain transactions, use certain functionality and access certain content on our websites.

 

Browsing

We do not collect personally identifiable information from your computer when you browse our websites or Apps and request pages from our servers. Unless you voluntarily and knowingly provide us with personally identifiable information, we will not know your name, your e-mail address, or any other personally identifiable information. When you request a page from our websites or through our Apps, our servers log the information provided in the HTTP request header, including the IP number, the time of the request, the URL of your request and other information that is provided in the HTTP header. When you connect to our websites and Apps though a mobile/tablet device, in order to send you App notifications, our servers may log the information on your mobile/tablet device location and mobile device identity. You can block the logging of this information by following the instructions on the relevant website or App. Should you block the logging of information on location and device identity, we will not be able to send you App notifications for Wynn Group promotions or events.

 

Information Use

Purposes of Processing, Security and Storage of Information

We collect, use, store and process your personal data for certain purposes including, without limitation:

(i) supply of products or services by Wynn Group companies, including, without limitation, hotel accommodation, food and beverage, transportation, tours and ticket purchasing, health and beauty (including spa and salon services), retail products and services, entertainment services, lucky draws, and gaming and operation of gaming programs by certain Wynn Group companies in destinations where gaming is legal;

(ii) operation of membership clubs or other reward programs and Wynn Group promotions and events;

(iii) credit concession, debt collection, payments and bank transfers;

(iv) audits (including audits by Wynn Group internal and external auditors);

(v) marketing (including direct marketing and market research);

(vi) communication with you (by email, mail, SMS, instant message, App notification, fax, phone or other means);

(vii)safety of persons and assets;

(viii) record keeping and communication to public authorities with jurisdiction over Wynn Group companies;

(ix) other purposes for based on your consent when you provide such information to us.

 

Storage and Protection Measures

All personal and general information that reaches us is stored on secure servers that reside behind firewalls designed to block unauthorized access. We have other measures in place designed to protect data, including restricted access (both electronically and physically), measures aimed at preventing unauthorized changes or transfer of data and measures aimed at encrypting authorized transfers of data in transit and at rest. Security policies are in place and we conduct periodic audits on our information technology system. Because laws applicable to personal data vary by location, we may put in place security measures that vary depending on the applicable legal requirements.

 

Sharing with Affiliates 

We may share your personal information with other Wynn Group companies. These companies have similar security measures in place to protect data as provided by us.

 

Engage Third Party Service Providers

We use the services of third party service providers, such as e-mail service providers, website, App and system development service providers, platform owners or providers of logistic support to systems websites and Apps, data management service providers, and/or marketing companies assisting with the development and support to marketing campaigns or events of the Wynn Group. These service providers act as contractors under our authority. We may share your personal information with these service providers. These service providers are contractually prohibited from using personally identifiable information for any purpose other than for the purposes we specify, and consented to by you. We prohibit the sale of personal information by said service providers. We also prohibit the transfer of personal information by said service providers to other entities outside the Wynn Group without your approval. We contractually require these service providers to implement technical and organizational security measures designed and appropriate to protect personal data due to be processed against accidental or unlawful destruction or accidental loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure or access, and against other unlawful forms of processing. The measures adopted should ensure a level of security appropriate to the risks represented by the processing and the nature of the data to be protected. These measures may vary depending on the applicable legal requirements.

 

Sharing with Third Parties 

We may also enter into partnerships or programs with third parties with a view to provide services or benefits that we believe are of interest and value to you. Where we need to share your personal information with these partners or associates, we shall inform you and request your separate consent. Please note that we have no control over, and accept no liability for damages or losses, howsoever caused, in connection with the use, processing, transfer or destination by those third parties of any data or information provided to those third parties. This rider will also be clearly stated whenever it applies in specific circumstances.

 

Order of Public Authorities

Your personal information may also be disclosed as necessary to comply with a court order or other legal process or legal requirements of any public authorities with jurisdiction over the Wynn Group.

 

Transmission to Other Jurisdictions 

Information collected on the systems, websites or Apps covered by this Statement may be transferred to, processed and stored in any country or region, including, without limitation, the United States of America, Macau, Hong Kong and other jurisdictions where the Wynn Group may have offices, such as other regions of the People’s Republic of China, Singapore, Taiwan and Japan.

 

Storage Period 

We keep data only for as long as is reasonably required and legally permitted. 

 

Deletion 

Where there is no sufficient justification to retain such data, such data will be safely and securely deleted, disposed or otherwise as required by the applicable law.

 

Minors 

We do not knowingly or intentionally collect any personally identifiable information from, or market to, individuals under the age of 18. Our websites and Apps are not intended for persons under the age of 18. Pursuant to Macau law, although persons of any age can access the hotels and other areas of our properties, persons under the age of 21 are not permitted to gamble, loiter or work in any gaming areas.

 

E-Mails about Special Offers and Promotions and Opt-Out

It is our intention to only send you e-mail and SMS communications that will be useful to you and that you want to receive. These communications will relate to events or offers by the Wynn Group at our properties and/or the promotions of select, reputable third parties with whom Wynn Resorts (Macau) S.A. has a strategic marketing relationship because they offer products or services that we believe would be of interest to you. We may use a third party e-mail service provider to send e-mails. This service provider is prohibited from using your e-mail address for any purpose other than to send the aforementioned e-mail communications. When you receive an e-mail or SMS you will be provided the choice to opt-out of future e-mails or SMS by following the instructions provided in the e-mail or SMS. 

 

Withdrawal of Consent

You may withdraw your consent given to us at any time by contacting us. Please refer to the “Contacts” section below.

You accept that the withdrawal of the consent may prevent us from providing you with certain services where the information is necessary for the provision of such services. 

 

Use of Third Party Internet Sites and Services

Third party internet websites and services accessible through systems, websites or Apps owned or operated by us, have separate privacy and data collection practices, independent of us. We have no responsibility or liability for these independent policies or actions.

 

Privacy Statement Changes

In the future, we may need to change this Privacy Statement. All changes will be made on our systems, websites and Apps so that you will always know what information we gather, how we might use that information and whether we will disclose it to anyone. 

If we have obtained your consent for the processing of personal information, and there is any significant change of the processing purpose, processing method and category of processed personal information, we will seek your refreshed consent.

DATA PRIVACY NOTICE

Part A: Data Privacy Policy Statement

I. Policy Statement

Wynn International Marketing, Ltd. ("WIML") collects, uses and holds your personal information in order to provide you with better customer services and products. Such data may include, without limitation, your personal details, the data in your identification document, contact details, bank account and credit card details, preferences, hobbies and interests. To ensure the safety of persons and assets, where legally permitted or required, we may also collect audio-visual data through surveillance at premises operated by WIML. WIML has procedures to ensure that all your personal data is collected, used and handled in accordance with the PDPO.

II. Data Retention and Security Measures

WIML keeps data only for as long as is reasonably required and legally permitted. Further, WIML will take reasonable steps to ensure the correct use and to maintain the accuracy of your personal data, and to prevent unauthorized or accidental access.

III. Practices

Part B: Personal Information Collection Statement (PICS)

I. Purposes for which data may be collected and used

WIML collects, uses, stores and processes your personal data for purposes including, but not limited to, the following:

(i)  supply of products or services by Wynn Group companies (including, without limitation, the products and services described in Part C below);

(ii)  operation of membership clubs or other reward programs and Wynn Group promotions and events;

(iii)  credit concession, debt collection, payments and bank transfers;

(iv)  audits (including audits by Wynn Group internal and external auditors);

WIML will keep your personal data confidential but such information may be provided or transferred to other parties for any of the purposes set out in section I above, such parties include other Wynn Group companies, any agent, contractor and service provider engaged by any Wynn Group company, and other person whom WIML considers appropriate in connection with the purposes mentioned in section I above. Further, WIML may disclose the data when required by a local or foreign law, court order or authority, or when disclosure is necessary or advisable to protect the rights or properties of any Wynn Group companies or in circumstances which WIML considers appropriate.

 

Part C: Use of Personal Data in Direct Marketing

WIML may, in the future, use your name, telephone number, email address and address for direct marketing and it requires your consent (which includes an indication of no objection) for that purpose. In this connection, the Wynn Group Companies may use your personal data held by WIML from time to time for directly marketing the classes of services and products offered by any Wynn Group companies which include but are not limited to: hotel accommodation, food and beverage and transportation, tours and ticket purchasing, health and beauty (including spa and salon services), retail products and services, entertainment services, lucky draws, and gaming and operation of gaming programs by certain Wynn Group companies in destinations where gaming is legal.

If you do not wish WIML or any Wynn Group companies to use your personal data for use in direct marketing as described above, you may exercise your opt-out right by ticking in the relevant boxes in the forms or notifying WIML, as set forth in Section III of Part A, at any time and without charge. 

Separate Consent under the Personal Information Protection Law of the People's Republic of China (the “PRC”)

The mainland PRC’s Personal Information Protection Law requires that we inform you and obtain your separate consent in the following circumstances as set out above by this Statement:

(i) Sharing with Affiliates;

(ii) Sharing with Third Parties; and

(iii) Collecting and processing sensitive personal information (such as payment card numbers, bank account information).

We shall also disclose to you the names, contacts, processing purpose, processing method of the affiliate / third party (as the case may be) and the categories of the processed information when we share your information with the affiliate / third party (as the case may be).

We will inform you and seek your separate consent and disclose the above-mentioned information to you in the above-mentioned circumstances.
