A forward and exuberant nose of black cherry, cassis, and dried violets. Slightly volatile. A thick, lush mid-palate with notable alcohol, smooth and creamy tannins, and moderate acidity. A polished structure and moderate length.

Slight dusty nose initially, giving way to bright and fresh blue and black fruit, with herbaceous notes of cedar and wild mint, layered, knitted and structured. The oak is a tad prominent.
