Dark cassis fruited nose, spicy, rich and dense. While the alcohol burn on the palate reduces the overall impression, the fruit is very pure.

Very deep ruby. Showed some very ripe fruit, even a bit stewy – black cherry, smoky. Tannins are very bold. Medium length.

Ripe plum and blackberries, with notes of toasted cumin and nutmeg, and cigar box. The wine is in a developing condition, with a layered texture and polished tannins. Enjoyable for now, and can keep for 5 years more.

Really seductive aroma of matured black fruits such as black plum, dark cherry and black currant, followed by a floral bouquet, with some sweet spices like cinnamon and nutmeg. The oak gives it a really pleasant note of palo santo wood and sweet vanilla, harmonious with the fruit. A firm tannin structure and a really vibrant acidity. Very good structure – very balanced and well-made. It has great ageing potential. What a lovely, fine wine.
